As the title suggests, I caught myself staring at a tree and seeing a red-ish glow in the middle of the night, and I wanted to simplify that feeling of awe my giving an angular shape making the tree seem tall. The psychedelic experience made me wonder what was specifically making this mirage happen, and thought that maybe the speed of light coming from this carbon-rich tree was of the infrared wavelengths.
